Case study

Ali’s BBQ

Ali’s BBQ has been feeding Phuket since 2012 and now runs five branches. Everything the restaurant had to say lived on one long page. We rebuilt it as a full site that matches their current branding, and gave the menu, the branches and the story room of their own.

Where they started

The restaurant ran on a single page carrying everything at once: the story, the food, all five branches and the contact details. Visitors scrolled past the whole business to reach the one thing they came for, no individual page could rank in search, and the design had drifted away from the branding the restaurants use today.

Project goal

Rebuild the one-page site as a full website that matches Ali’s current branding, and give the restaurant space to say more: a proper menu, a page for every branch, and the story behind the grills.

Our approach

How the project ran

The work was structural before it was visual. Once each part of the restaurant had a page of its own, the design could follow the branding the team already uses in store.
01

Audit the one-pager

Pulled the existing page apart to see what visitors actually came for, what was missing, and which sections deserved a page of their own.
02

Map the site

Turned one long scroll into a clear structure: home, story, menu, a page per branch, and contact.
03

Match the branding

Rebuilt the design around the current logo, the Ali orange and Anton headlines, so the site looks the way the restaurants feel.
04

Build and measure

Built it in WordPress, tuned the loading speed, and connected Google Analytics so decisions from here follow real numbers.

Solutions

What we built

A page for every branch

Five branches, five pages, each with its own address, hours and photos, so every location can be found on its own.

A menu that stands alone

The food moved out of the scroll into a menu section that can be linked, shared and found in search.

Branding back in line

Anton headlines, Poppins body text and the Ali orange, applied the same way on every page.

Analytics from day one

Google Analytics wired in at launch, so the site reports which pages earn attention instead of leaving it to guesswork.

The new design

Scroll through the live pages

Each window holds the full page. Scroll inside a window to see the whole design, top to bottom.

Results

The site loads faster than the page it replaced and finally matches the branding the restaurants use in store. With Google Analytics connected, the numbers show most visitors landing on the menu, which turns the menu into a business tool: keep tracking it, and Ali’s can push the popular high-margin dishes and replace the ones that are not paying their way.
